Canceling/Editing/Approving A Transfer

If you've submitted a transfer request and need to make changes – or if your advisor has initiated a transfer on your behalf – this guide will walk you through how to cancel, edit, or approve a transfer on the Zoe Wealth Platform.

When You Can Cancel or Edit a Transfer
You can edit a transfer only if the status is one of the following:

  • Draft

  • Scheduled

You can only cancel a transfer if it is already in progress, but you cannot edit it

  • In Progress

Once a transfer reaches the Finalizing stage, it is actively being processed and can no longer be modified or canceled through the platform.

How to Cancel a Transfer

If a transfer is already in progress:

  1. Log in at app.zoefin.com

  2. Click "Account Activity" from the left-hand navigation

  3. Navigate to the "In Progress" tab

  4. Find the transfer you’d like to cancel

  5. Click the three dots (•••) on the right-hand side

  6. Select "Cancel Transfer"

You’ll receive an email confirmation once the transfer has been successfully canceled.

How to Edit a Transfer

If a transfer is in Scheduled or Upcoming status, you may be able to make certain changes, including:

  • Transfer date

  • Transfer amount

  • Tax withholding selection (for retirement distributions)

To make edits:

  1. Log in at app.zoefin.com

  2. Go to "Account Activity"

  3. Navigate to the "Upcoming Transfers" tab

  4. Click the three dots (•••) on the right of the row

  5. Select "Edit Transfer"

  6. Make any necessary updates and re-save the transfer

Edits can only be made if the transfer has not yet reached the "Finalizing" status

How to Approve a Transfer

In some cases, your advisor or the Zoe team may initiate a transfer on your behalf. If that happens, you will be prompted to approve the transfer before it can be processed.

To approve:

  1. Log in at app.zoefin.com

  2. Click "Account Activity"

  3. Go to the "Transactions" section

  4. Locate the pending transfer

  5. Click to review and approve the request

This ensures that nothing is moved without your full visibility and consent.
