Connecting a bank account to your Zoe Wealth Platform account allows you to easily make contributions to your Zoe Wealth Platform investment accounts! It's also a necessary step if you would like to make any withdrawals from your accounts.
How to Connect a Bank Account to the Zoe Wealth Platform
After completing the account opening form, you will see a screen that says ‘Connect a Bank Account’. From here you can jump to step 4. If you’ve already opened accounts, start with step 1!
1. Log into app.zoefin.com
2. Click "Transfer Funds" in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
3. Select the type of Cash Transfer you are making - Deposit or Withdrawal. Then select ACH as the type of transfer.
4. Choose the investment account the transfer is for.
If you are creating a deposit, this will be listed under "To"
If you are creating a withdrawal, this will be listed under "From"
5. Set up the external account.
If you are creating a deposit, this will be listed under "From"
If you are creating a withdrawal, this will be listed under "To"
6. When the Plaid integration window pops up, click continue
You may be prompted to input your phone number. This is optional--it allows you to more quickly access previously linked accounts on other sites that use Plaid. If you wish to skip this step, you can select "skip"
7. Chose either instant connection or micro-deposit connect. The following instructions will be specifically for the instant connection option, and more instructions on micro-deposits can be found below.
8. Search for and select the financial institution you bank with
9. From here, follow the login prompts for your external financial institution. Some institutions will take you to a different window to log in, while some will have you log in directly in the plaid integration window. You may be prompted to provide a two factor authentication code or input the answer to a security question
10. Select which account you would like to connect to the Zoe Wealth Platform. Once confirmed, you can go back to your dashboard. You may need to refresh your page once connected

What if I prefer micro-deposit verification or if I can't login with my bank credentials via Plaid?
If you don't have your bank login credentials or your institution isn't supported via Plaid, it's still possible to connect your account via your routing and account numbers.
Log into app.zoefin.com
Click Transfer Funds in the upper right hand corner
Select "Cash Deposit"
Select "ACH (Instant Transfer)"
In the "To" dropdown, select any of your investment accounts. You won't actually be making a deposit at this stage, so the specific account selected is not important
In the "From" dropdown, select "Add Account"
When the Plaid integration window pop's up click continue
On the next screen when you're asked how you would like to link your account and you're given the options "Instant" or "Manual," select "Manual" and click continue
Input your routing number and click continue
At this stage, you may be prompted to log in via your banking credentials. Click on "Enter account number instead"
Input your account number and click continue
Input the full name on your bank account. It must match your full name on your Zoe Wealth Platform accounts
Select the account type
On the next page you will authorize a micro deposit into your bank account.
In 1-2 business days, you'll receive a micro deposit (likely ~$0.01) into your bank account. In the transaction details of this micro deposit, you will see an alphanumeric code. Copy that code.
Log back into app.zoefin.com
At the top of your screen, you will see a banner prompting you to input the alphanumeric code from the transaction details at your bank. Once you input this code, your bank account is connected to the Zoe Wealth Platform! You can now make a cash deposit into any of your Zoe accounts.
You can also add ACH relationships via manual microdeposits or paper form.
You can contact the Zoe Client Success team at [email protected] or 646-264-4449 for more details on both.
