Cash deposits are one the easiest way to contribute to your investment accounts!
How to Submit a Cash Deposit
Log into app.zoefin.com
Click "Transfer Funds" in the upper right hand corner
Select "Cash Deposit" (the option on top)
Select ACH "(Instant Transfer)"
In the "To" dropdown, select the account you'd like the deposits to go into
In the "From" dropdown, select the bank account you would like the deposit to come from. If you haven't previously linked a bank account, select "Add Account"
If you're adding a new bank account account, see below for instructions on how to connect your bank account via Plaid
Input your deposit information and click continue
For all account types you'll need to indicate the amount of the deposit, the frequency of the deposits, and the start date
For IRA accounts, you'll need to indicate the Contribution Type* and the Contribution Year
Review and approve the transfer.
How to Connect Your Bank Account via Plaid
When the Plaid integration window pops up, click continue
You may be prompted to input your phone number. This is optional--it allows you to more quickly access previously linked accounts on other sites that use Plaid. If you wish to skip this step, you can select "Continue as guest"
On the screen where it asks how you'll link your bank account, you can select either "Instant" or "Manual," and click "Continue." Instant is recommended.
If you select Instant,
Search for and select the financial institution you bank with
From here, follow the login prompts. Some institutions will take you to a different window to log in, while some will have you log in directly in the plaid pop-up. You may be prompted to provide a two factor authentication code or input the answer to a security question, depending on your particular institution's security settings
From here, most institutions will ask you to confirm which account you would like to connect to the Zoe Wealth Platform. Once confirmed, you can go back to your dashboard. You may need to refresh your page once connected
If you select manual,
Input your routing number, click continue
Input your account number, click continue
Enter the full name on your bank account. This must match what is listed on your investment account, click continue
In 1-2 business days, you will receive micro deposits in your bank account. In the transaction details for that transaction, you will see an alphanumeric code. Copy that code.
Log back into app.zoefin.com
At the top of your dashboard, you should see a banner prompting you to input the alphanumeric code. Paste the code there.
Your bank is now linked! If you would like to proceed with a cash deposit, follow the steps listed above.

*In most cases, the Contribution Type will be "Regular" unless you're depositing funds that came from a different IRA or former employer sponsored plan. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your advisor or our Client Success Team.
