How to close an opened account

We can only close accounts with a $0 balance. If the accounts are funded, please work with the client and/or Zoe to move the assets out of the accounts.

Once the balance is at $0, you are able to close the account in the "info" tab.

Scroll down to:

"Do you need to close this account? Close Account"

Click: "Close Account"

Or, you can reach out to our team at [email protected] or 646-222-8763. Please provide all of the account numbers you would like to close. We will need written confirmation that you have spoken with the client about closing the accounts.

Due to compliance and record-keeping requirements, households and accounts cannot be completely deleted from the platform. However, they can be closed.

Closed households and accounts will remain available for historical record-keeping purposes but will no longer be active for new activity or transactions.
